Bowen's Wharf wooden boat show 2016
Visit the Newport Wooden Boat Show
September 15-18, Bowen’s Wharf Marina, 1 Bowen’s landing, Free admission
September 15-18, an exciting new expansion to the Newport International Boat Show. It will showcase a beautiful array of wooden power and sailboats at Bowen’s Wharf Marina, 1 Bowen’s landing, originally home to Newport’s historic ferry landing.
We’ll be there with TUCK, an original Herreshoff 12 ½ commissioned in 1937 by William Vanderbilt along with sister ship NIP. In 2002, TUCK was completely restored by Newport’s own International Yacht Restoration School, and she’s now looking for her next owner. In perfect condition, TUCK is ready to go another 65 years.
Entrance to the Newport Wooden Boat Show is free, so come celebrate the extraordinary talents of wooden boat designers such as Captain Nat in the city by the sea.
