All enjoyed the 4th Annual Frost Bite Bash on February 6th.
Several hundred yachting enthusiasts partied the night away surrounded by beautiful and historic wooden boats. The event featured an open bar and incredible food provided by some of New England's finest companies. Including a raw bar provided by Island Creek Oysters, BBQ provided by Preppy Pig BBQ, amazing pad thai provided by one of New England's finest caterers, Russell Morin, and more! Funding was facilitated by a wide range of Live and Silent Auction items .
The Bash was also host to the unveiling of The RELIANCE Model, a 30 foot, museum quality model of the America's Cup winner, RELIANCE. This spectacular model of one of history's most important yachts is dazzaling.
The Museum's Executive Director, Bill Lynn, was host for the evening. He gave us all a history of the original Yacht Reliance and spoke to the hard work of volunteers to bring her spirit back to life.
Stop in and see if for yourself; it should be on your bucket list.
